Lots of stuff over on
Thom Hogan's site about this, including a rundown of the DX lens lineup and some comments on the new 40mm Micro DX. Will DX disappear? No, not in the lower end cameras, and I think that means there will be a semi-pro camera like the D300s is now for some time to come. I've got used to the DX form factor and don't want a bigger camera. A bit better noise performance at high ISO would be nice but I don't want it that often. More often, I appreciate the "crop factor", and like my lenses to be where they are for me.
