Please could some one advise here. I have at last got my Nikon D90 and am over the moon with it. However I wanted to purchase a cable release for it because i fancy having a go at shooting some fireworks over halloween ( and my hubby surprised me with a tripod) - easier said than done. Sent for the nikon Mc-Dc 2 cable as recommended by nikon from two different companies and neither have worked. Thought i might be being dumb as so new to digital slrs and checked out the last one purchased at my local calumet store - they tried it on one of their D90's and didn't work either. Then was advised to send for Calumet's version - came today doesn't fit
Rang Calumet to be told that that port was changed recently in the D90 and not all cables fit now and some cables that previously were suitable now don't work. if anyone has any advice i would really appreciate it before i spontaneously combust.
