yeah, I've got a D7000.
Tiff tend to be high quality files, but they embed the camera settings onto the file in the same way that JPG does, but the file size is much larger. If you have the space for Tiff, you might as well shoot in RAW. Besides, the D7000 doesn't save in tiff. It's JPG, RAW or both
