I think I'd be tempted to get the 16-85VR rather than either of your choices. The D7000 can use its improvements over the 18-105, which is not a poor lens by any means. I've never really been convinced by the idea of buying an interchangable lens camera and then sticking a do-it-all lens like the Tamron 18-270 on it. I don't think that lens is good enough for the D7000 which will be capable of showing the lens' flaws quite readily.

For a remote get a wireless version rather than the infra red, as it will allow you to work in normal modes rather than having to switch to the remote mode. No need for a 'timer remote' though as the D7000 has a built-in interval timer.

You might waant to hold off the 50mm until you're sure you need it. A longer lens might be more of a priority, or you might find a 24-70 f/2.8 more useful, and fast enough given the D7000's capabilities in low light.
