Interesting - I've seen the opposit recommended -
Generally the reason being that: as all adjustments are made via mathematical co-ordinates and then saved in a database, (so that the original image is never actually altered), once the 'lens correction' mathematics are done - they need to be re-calculated with every other change - seriously slowing the process down...
