Having a gallery on photoradar is not essential to having a news story written - otherwise we'd have no stories about many things!
As I’ve tried to explain, and perhaps failed, the news hook for this story would have been that you are an active member of our website, however without using the galleries you appear to outsiders as a non-active user. Obviously, where other news hooks such as famous photographers (Rankin, Bailey and the ilk) or well-known galleries (i.e. National Portrait Gallery) are available this is what the story hangs on.
We do wish you every success with the exhibition and hope everyone enjoys seeing your pictures.
