Thanks for the replies, Ideally I want the same responsive touch screen as the IPad which I understand the ASUS has, I remember when I had my IPhone 3G and a colleague had an HTC phone although the HTC phone had a more powerful CPU it didn't feel anywhere near as good as the IPhone to use.
If I go down the Android route then I would want the latest version on there, I understand honeycombe is built with tablets in mind so that would be the logical choice for me.
As for the queen using an IPad I hope she wasn't tweeting during the Royal wedding
