Well, I have been shooting FF for the past 5 years with first the 5d classic and now the 5dMKII. I can't stress enough that regardless of what people who have never used FF say, there is a noticeable difference in image quality that can only be experienced by using it. That isn't to say that crop sensors can't provide superb images because that would be a ridiculous lie if I said otherwise. FF isn't for everyone though. It has its pros and cons just like any other format. It all depends on what you will be shooting really, as any camera is only a tool, so choose one depending on what your main usage will be. The weight of the 5d MKII isn't much different to the 7d with grip, and my 5dMKII without grip and with the 24-105L is very manageable. Lenses need to be considered more carefully with FF because the size of the sensor will be very unforgiving with low budget lenses. There are a few downsides, but the image quality more than makes up for them.

Would I go back to using a crop camera? The answer to that is a resounding NO!
