Hi Vinny, The reason the foreground is darker than the sky, is that the number of stops (exposure) is greater than the camera can record.. There are a couple of ways to remedy this, first the use of graduated filters, this will allow you to bring the exposure of the sky down.. Second is to shoot multiple images at different exposure settings, this could be just two images or as many as nine. You can then blend the images together using various software packages..
