I gave up on getting Photo mags to acknowledge Linux. I actually use my Mac for photo (Ps Elements) editing as there were more tutorials for it than the GIMP when I was learning.
Here is an interesting fact. The guys at Linux Format produce the mag on Macs
They did a feature a couple of years ago and reproduced one article using Scribus on Linux. It looked very close in layout, etc, to the rest of the mag. It took them longer because they had to create all the defaults first.
