I really like the clean look to your website and the transistion is just about right I think.
I am not too keen on the amount of 'dead' space you have at the top of the page and it almost feels like something hasn't loaded correctly. I would reduce this although it is not essential.
I noticed is that you have several errors in the HTML of your site and I would advise validating the code and making the required changes so that it is compliant with current standards.
This is only a very small point but I noticed that just under the Photographer | Interior part in the top right there are two little white dots. I am not sure if they are part of an image but they look like an oversite. Considering how clean and professional the rest of the site looks I think they stand out.
I really like the gallery and think that it compliments the quality of your site.
I also really like the navigation as it is simple and effective and this is something that a lot of developers get wrong!
Overall I love the look and feel of the site and most importantly the pictures look great!
