Um, yes. On my PC, pdf documents that were created before version 9 appear as they always did with various menu boxes at the top including the print option. However, when I download more recent documents those menu options at the top no longer appear raising the question for me.......well how do I now even save a copy. The answer believe it or not came by accident LOL. If you move your mouse towards the bottom of the open document a splash screen (faint) pops up giving you the option to save and print etc. If you move your mouse away from this pop-up it disappears again. It's a nice feature from Adobe in reducing screen space but I wish they'd told me about it first.
I wonder if this could be tied to your problem.
