In my case it wasn't. I went into the store ready to buy a Sony, but it just didn't feel right, whereas the Pentax K10D did. The buttons were all easy to reach for me and it had the right size for my (rather small) hands. I was instantly happy. After reading up on it, I ordered it and haven't looked back so far. Your miles may vary of course!
