Thanks guys, yes I've adjusted the diopter to suit my eyes without the specs. Still have to put specs back on to check the result. Tried looking through the viewfinder with specs on, it's not too bad indoors or in dull lighting but our Aussie sun really makes it difficult when shooting outdoors. I'll try the wide brimmed hat instead of the peaked cap. Thanks again, I'll persevere.
