Just before Christmas, the paper had an offer of a free photobook (just pay postage) from Albelli (.co.uk). Tried it and am very pleased with the result, but as it is my first ever photobook, I don't know how it compares with others.

You can use the 'simple' online layout, or the more sophisticated one, where you can play around with the contents. I used the latter.

I have discovered a few things I would do different/better next time, so it may be an idea to do one for yourself, before you go for an 'official' book.

One of the things I wanted to find out, before I do a book as a present, or (if I ever get that lucky!) if someone wants to buy one, was whether the printer puts his name on the finished product.(Albelli does a modest logo on the back page, and I suppose they all do.)

If you do one for yourself or good friends, you may want to go for a supermarket brand, but if you want to do something posh, or for resale, you would not want the name of a supermarket on the book.
