Pentax Optio RS1000

OK, I know we, being Pentaxians, are generally into 'serious' cameras.... the long thread on the K5 would confirm this.
But.... I'm very impressed by this review of the RS1000..... the (lack of) noise at high ISO is very impressive, as is the lens quality and colour reproduction. 14Mp on a tiny sensor - surely it can't work, can it?

My current pocket camera is a Canon G10.... yes, I should have waited for the G11 or G12 but there you go. At the time I thought I wanted a quality pocket camera that could shoot in Raw - but really I've come to the conclusion that I may as well ignore Raw if I'm going to have a pocket camera - most of the shots I take with my G10 are 'record' shots or little bits for montages, so Raw is just a hassle most of the time and I've been very disappointed by the high noise at anything above ISO200.

So, for 94 of your British Pounds, the RS1000 is a little beauty from Pentax.... and I really like the tartan!

Check out this Review.
