Thanks for that guys but not really what I was looking for, on my old Fuji S6500fd bridge camera you could set up a the "rule of thirds" grid both on the lcd screen in live view mode, and in the viewfinder mode as well, it helped keep me keep my horizons straight (well relatively anyway <g>) and I was wondering if anybody knew whether this was a function available on the A350 as I can't find it (which suggests it isn't there) or if there is sticky screen protector type thing that has the "grid lines" on it that you can order and then put on the lcd itself....alas such a thing does not seem to be available, wonder if I can make something....mmm Blue Peter skills coming to mind sticky back plastic, inner cardboard tube from toilet roll and a yoghurt pot.....
