I knew the D7000 would be awesome too - there is in practical terms no difference in these results (check the graphs - the K5 is marginally better everywhere, but it is very slight).

These are two mold breaking cameras.

I wonder, however, what the Sony 580 will come out like? Same sensor again.

This level of performance is going to be the standard for APS-Cs from now on - they do somewhat dent the desire for FF
