Smile Legal query - hope administrator can advise, please.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I just wanted some clarification regarding the following.

Last year, I entered several photos into the Digital Photographer of the Year 2009, unfortunately, none of which even made the shortlist, let alone won!

I recall, however, that the rules of the competition said something to the effect that you have the right to reproduce the images for 3 years.

I now want to upload some of these images to a website (not my own) where customers could choose to have them printed onto T-shirts, mugs, hats, etc., or alternatively to be sold as posters, canvas prints, etc. and then bought by them.

Am I still allowed to use these images for these purposes, even though you still have the right to reproduce them for 3 years.

In addition to this, I've also entered some images into this year's Digital Photographer of the Year 2010. Can these images be used for the above purposes too, whether or not they win?

I would be very grateful for answers to the above. Thanks.
