Why is this 'right click' function not disabled?
For good display on the Internet image file sizes do not have to be so large, and as you will glean from earlier posts it is acceptable to watermark and signature the images you upload.
Apparently the disabled 'right click' function exercise is not a totally secure method for protection, and I guess partly the reason for any reluctance; keeping the onus upon the artist, to do their best in detering theft and looking after their interest.
The images I upload are usually watermarked / copyright 'C'd and devoid of some Exif data; which can be provided in way of proof to the image origin should the need arise.
Having said this, I agree the disable right click would assist towards further protection, and it would be nice to hear from admin on this matter.
