ianpinion - I really like this. Simple, clean lines and nice, subtle changes of texture make for an interesting abstract. Something different, which is always a bonus in my book. I think the composition is spot on to genuinely fill a 3x2 aspect frame, which I took to pretty much be the challenge this week. All I would say is that I may have presented the image in a portrait aspect (probably rotated 90 deg cw) but then I tend to prefer portrait shots.

Mannananscloak - Well exposed with a good array of colours and textures. The lack of any real focal point I think shows the difference between filling a frame with things & filling the frame with a composition. For example, GUY1970's snail shell shows how picking out a part of a scene can make for a stronger image.
