Deena, not really as the whole point of shooting...

Deena, not really as the whole point of shooting in raw is that you can use 16 bit and the ProPhoto colour space when editing the image, which is what you are doing in Lightroom, if you then open it...

The answer depends on if you are shooting raw or jpeg which you have not said.

If raw then the colour space in your camera has no meaning as raw images have no colour space until you convert them...

With the image open in ACR click on the basic tab...

With the image open in ACR click on the basic tab and choose "camera raw defaults" this will reset it to it's original state.

The original image is never altered, all Elements is doing is appending the raw image with instructions either in the database or the xmp file so that it can be displayed with the setting you used on...
