Raw with artefacts

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8036/8073569094_c41a2de5ca_m.jpgI had to convert the image to a jpg as Flickr would not accept my raw images as valid. It still shows the artefacts though.

I have recently changed from shooting on auto to manual. All my RAW images with large areas of colour (e.g. blue sky) have blobs of darker colour in them. When I shoot the same image in auto mode...
