+1 for wave01, the 55-250 IS is an extremely good lens for its price, and does go perfectly well with the 18-55IS as well. If you take a look at some second hand lenses, I got my 55-250 for £110 in...

A Tamron 2x or a Kenko 2x or 1.4x will work with the lens as far as I can remember, however you lose 1 stop of light with a 1.4 and 2 stops with a 2x, so the autofocus wont work with any converter...

You could always try back focussing on the 7D. Up the shutter to at least 400 if your at the long end of your 70-300, increase ISO to 800 or more as the 7D will handle it and use the back focus...

I went with the 100mm f2.8 L so that I could use it as a portrait lens as well as a macro. I have a 7D and a 5D2 and use the lens on both. On the 5D2 it seems better as a portrait lens than it does a...

Photostore 123

I've just been browsing looking for prices for a 7D. I saw this and thought of a Yorkshire Cameras type scam. It just seems so cheap for a 7D with 18-135mm lens at £837.18 inc VAT, and a 7D body...
