Newbie to editing

Hi all
1st off I do I shrink my photos down so they don't take up so much room on the screen when uploading on to here? I've tried resizing them to 10% and reduced from 3mb to 50kb.

I'm looking for a new camera to be used while on the move ie in cars planes boats trains etc, obviously trying to get clear shots through windows with so much...
