Er... I think this is the main point and the kit you need is trainers and a really big stick:p

Sandisk exsteme 3s are good. I use 8gis with my D300 and get 300 raws (no pun intended) per card.

Killed my sigma 18-50 the other day by dropping it around 200ft down a mountain - totally gutted!! it was the f2.8 Non macro - Cant complain though it was attached to my d300 which survived apart...

my d300 camera fell out of my bag today whilst I stood helpless to prevent it rolling and bouncing 30m down the rocky mountain side:eek:. The sigma lens stayed put almost to last but was totalled....

ok seems to prefer that - but the image is stiil reluctant to make an appearance. I though taking the photo was the hard bit!!! Worse still the ice in my rum has melted!
