I think anything more than ten quid for a sensor clean is a rip-off! Like many here, I've done my own for years, it's easy and takes about 20 seconds.

Why do you want an extender if you already have a 300mm lens? Taking into account crop factor that's equivalent to 450mm!! If you get even a x1.4 extender, thats equivalent to about 650mm, so unless...

I thought they were still being advertised widely in the mags?? Personally, I think you'd be mad to buy a"bargain" Mk1 now unless it's REALLY cheap, it's a great camera but its specs and capabilities...
