Yep the D600 could be the way forward as long as Curry's decide to get some in. It's going to be a big step up from a D80 and I'll need some new glass. I might go over budget.

I have the 10-20 F4-5.6 version and am over the moon with it. I do a lot of walking in the country side and its with me all the time. Knocks spots off my Nikon kit lens
