they probably pad it out or use a wire frame...

they probably pad it out or use a wire frame inside,then put it on a stand and remove the evidence with photoshop,if you squash some newspaper up inside it then hang it on a wire coat hanger it...

the other thing i would say is about your locking the focus selector,there is no need unless your thumb keeps catching the buttons (thus moving focus off centre), sometimes you may need to switch...
