Icicle Drips
 
I was bored so I thought id have a go at catching some drips and as the kids were out this was the next best thing :D :D :D

Hi Mark , technically very nice with great detail and spot on exposure just not the prettiest of backdrops , :)

Well done on getting out to do something , my poor camera hasn't been out of the bag for weeks .

Thank you Mark I took them in my back yard. I was doing veg for dinner and saw it and just had to go and shoot them lol doesn't do much for your shutter count though :( I think I might try a little indoor set up some time this week and have a go at some water splashes too

Good focus and you have done well to catch the water drop. I agree that the background is not the best, but sometimes you can't really help that and I imagine that this is one of those occasions.

Thank you Jediboy, yes it was unfortunately these were taken off my bin bunker roof I admit not the prettiest back drop but I kind of like the rustic feel of them :)

I took about 120 shots to get them with a lot of playing with settings to get them just right. I guess thats the nature of taking pictures like this though

I certainly wouldn't be trying it with a film camera lol im not that rich :D
