Snow-capped Snowdon

Following on from my last post I've just converted this photograph of a snow-capped Snowdon to mono and would appreciate feedback

Thanks

I took me a moment to get my head around what inward seeing here. I think that may be because of the ice in the foreground that interferes a bit with the reflection in the water. That could just be me though.
It's a nice image, but I can't help but feel that it may work better in colour. There is something just not quite right about it, but I can't put my finger on what.
Sorry for being so vague.

Snowdon and the sky seem to merge together; there just doesn't seem to be enough contrast between them. The reflection of the sky and mountain in the water looks a lot brighter than the actual sky and mountain.

Thanks for the feedback...I've re-edited the original above to add a little more contrast and darken the reflection...my mistake for shooting with a 2 stop ND Grad

That looks better with a bit more contrast. I still find the ice in the foreground a bit off putting. Just my observations though. It's still a good photo.

I know it's going to be down to personal taste but I don't think that this B & W conversion adds anything to the scene , infact I feel it's left the image looking a bit flat .
