Really like 'fathers pride' but not too sure about the processing. Love the look of the proud father with the new addition to the family.

Justin, is Photomatix trying to do an HDR thing?? Ed.

I can see what the others are saying about the fathers pride image , the PP work has left the image looking dirty ( for the want of a better description )

Really like the first image , great background and although I do like the silhouette of the leaf behind I think it would look great with only the top and bottom leaves ( just my taste )

The fairy stone image has a great feel to it , really nice use of DOF .

Hello Justin, nice set of images here love Fathers Pride but it does look like an HDR image which kind of spoils it a little. 1 and 5 are great shots

Hi guys, thanks for the comments! Photomatix is a HDR program that allows conversion of single and multiple exposures to HDR images with several creative filters. I was sort of experimenting with HDR and my people shots and used the painterly effect to roughen up the image so that the texture would contrast and compliment the emotion of the moment, the father is a bit rough while his son is softer. Appreciate the critique and look forward to more interaction!
