In the first shot I like the way you have got the eye contact but it does leave me wanting to see more , I've got no idea what the bird is but it does look beautiful . May be this was your intention .
The buggy and helicopter shots I feel are a bit cramped and could do with a different crop . Man's best friend is another very nice image but again my taste would be to crop off a little more of the left hand side , I think if the dog was looking out to the left it would probably work as it is but because he is looking towards us I don't think the extra space is needed . Mark[/QUOTE] Hi Mark Thanks for the comments :), that was the intention with my first photograph, as for the bird I have a few other shots in full view, the mail weaver is bright yellow and the female a bit duller as in the photo below, will post some more detail this evening. I also have another photo of the dog looking to the left, will definitely take up your advice on the crop. The buggy shot is unfortunately not a crop, my idea was to focus on the driver and his co-pilot with the buggy as a secondary/lesser focal point, but i understand what you mean by the two photos seeming cramped. Will continue to post photos, as I said previously I am still very new to photography and am looking to improve. Regards, Justin |
