Support for angle of view and orientation
Hi, I am investigating support of Azimuth (direction of view) in nowadays cameras and software. As far as I know some smartphones do have a magnetometer that allows to tell which direction the device is oriented towards (north, south, ...etc).
I am wondering whether modern cameras could use such a magnetometer to tag a photo with direction in the same way as they do with location. So far the only program I found that allows to display (and edit) geo-direction is this one: screen 1 screen 2 Does anyone know whether Adobe Lightroom will have support for this ? And the second question: are there any digicams (not smartphones) with support for tagging azimuth in EXIF ? (having magnetometer built-in) Best regards, Makan |
I do not know of any cameras that support this, although they could. Ones that have built in GPS could possibly do it.
