Waterproof case / bag

I've been looking at reviews for waterproof camera cases or bags to use while snorkelling and I'd be very interested if anyone has had any experience with them . I don't think I'll be taking my DSLR so I'll be pulling my bridging camera out of retirement a Panasonic Lumix FZ8 , the type of cases I've been looking at so far are the Overboard Waterproof Zoom Lens Camera Case – Medium from Jessops and the DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case from Amazon . I've got to do some more research to make sure my camera will fit and the lens will extend ok but it would help if anyone has used a similar case and can tell me how they got on with it . Budget is always a factor which is why I've been looking at these bags rather than a full blown case .

Thanks Mark

Hey,

I have used OverBoard before for their waterproof cases for the iPhone and I must admit it was very good. Unfortunately I've not used their camera equipment so I can't comment on them although the http://www.over-board.co.uk/waterproof-zoom-lens-camera-case-black.html does look pretty good.

Alternatively I've bought a fair few camera cases from LoveCases in the past and they do have a wide range of camera cases which are designed to be waterproof...although too my knowledge none that let you use the camera under water.

Thankyou very much for your comments I really appreciate it , I have been looking very hard at the Over-Board range and think I will try them out .
I think I'll order one from some where like Amazon so that I can check for the right size and also that I can get to and use all the buttons properly .

Mark
