Chat - Weekend Competition 2nd-4th November 2012 'Past, Present or Future'

This weeks challenge should you wish to accept it is 'Past, Present or Future' interpret it as you wish but ultimately the shot has to represent one, some or all of those stages of time.

There are no restrictions on PP but remember the image must have been taken within the competition time frame.

Rules can be found here

Nice broad theme. I'm away on holiday but will try and get something in if I find the time.

I wanted to keep it broad especially with the weather like it is, hope you manage to get an entry in.

Im on a mini cruise to Amsterdam Saturday (overnight on the ferry). Then a few hours in Amsterdam Sunday then overnight home again on ferry Sunday night. Not sure I will manage an entry this weekend but i do have one idea for Amsterdam but if it fails, I won't have one.

I'm 50 next week (whoop whoop), on Wednesday, so the mini cruise is a bit of a pre birthday treat. Looking forward to it, however Dave (the long suffering one...) gets sea sick so it might be traumatic for him bless him. By the way that's my hubby Dave, nothing to do with our Wavemachin Dave...Just wanted to clear that up, before the rumours started.....lol

Hi Chris enjoy your trip and happy 50th (still a teenager relatively speaking).
The last time my wife and I did that trip we enjoyed a force nine gale. No problems with sea sickness, but on land we both suffered with land sickness. All the buildings where moving and spinning. We had dinner at the Krasnopolski, but had to miss most of it due to the hotel continually moving.

Popped down to the beach this morning and managed my first attempt for this weekend.
Hope a triptych is acceptable.
