This was taken at around 6:20 in the morning

It looks like you used quite a wide aperture for this shot which has given you a narrow DOF , nothing wrong in my book with that but I think you could of made more of it by exposing for the in-focus flowers and getting a nice back lite section of rape to add an additional layer to the image .

The sun takes your eyes away from the other parts of the image. I think if you could have placed the sun nearer the top corner, this might have given a better, overall image, where the eyes took more in.

Thanks Mark, Chris, I will keep this in mind next time i get up and go out early, although im not sure if we will get much more sun this year! At least I wont have to get up as early now
