Go to:

That will tell you all the lenses that you can, and cannot fit on the D2.

Before you make the plunge, read some reviews and take suggestions from the forum. Don't aim too low when choosing a camera. I've never heard anyone complaining that the camera they bought is too good.

Don't rule out used and refurbished cameras from dealers and manufacturers.

I always find it strange that people who are considering buying an advanced camera need to come to us to see what lenses will fit, rather than doing a bit of research, downloading the manual and consulting it, and using all the resources available on the web. Lens compatibility for the D2xs is on page 244-246 of the manual, by the way.
When it's their first post on the forum, and contains Urgent and exclamation marks, I wonder if they will come back & tell us how they're getting on with their exotic purchase.
Am I just a grumpy old git?

Indeed not, Chris. :D

It always amazes me when people come on to a forum and ask questions that they can find the answers to easily, by just a search of the web.

In the time it took niallread99 to register and write the post he/she could have found all the information they needed just by going to Google etc.

So make me a grumpy old git too. ;)
