Urgent Nikon camera advice!
Hey guys!
I'm going to hopefully be purchasing a Nikon D2x/xs, I'm worried about the lenses! What lenses can I use or not use? Old or New etc! I need advice and help! Please help guys!:) |
Go to:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/compatibility-lens.htm That will tell you all the lenses that you can, and cannot fit on the D2. |
Before you make the plunge, read some reviews and take suggestions from the forum. Don't aim too low when choosing a camera. I've never heard anyone complaining that the camera they bought is too good.
Don't rule out used and refurbished cameras from dealers and manufacturers. I always find it strange that people who are considering buying an advanced camera need to come to us to see what lenses will fit, rather than doing a bit of research, downloading the manual and consulting it, and using all the resources available on the web. Lens compatibility for the D2xs is on page 244-246 of the manual, by the way.
When it's their first post on the forum, and contains Urgent and exclamation marks, I wonder if they will come back & tell us how they're getting on with their exotic purchase. Am I just a grumpy old git? Chris |

Chris
Indeed not, Chris. :D It always amazes me when people come on to a forum and ask questions that they can find the answers to easily, by just a search of the web. In the time it took niallread99 to register and write the post he/she could have found all the information they needed just by going to Google etc. So make me a grumpy old git too. ;) |
