Stupid question...

Just found this forum and it seem like a great idea but I cant see how to get my photo into the post. The add image asks for a web url. Am I just being thick??

No, it's not you that's thick, it's the way the forum is implemented. You have to upload your photo somewhere (the gallery here is one possibility, another set of challenges) and link to it from the forum. You can't load a picture directly into a forum post. It's been observed that it's a strange thing for a photography forum, but there ya go.

As I said... another set of challenges. :D

Thanks! Seems a tad over engineered. At least I know it needs to be a link to publicly accessible web address.

or upload images to flickr then click on 'share' when you're looking at your picture, then grab the bb code (not html) from the options, then paste it in your forum message.

took me ages to figure it, and never did understand it with the gallery on here, so i use flickr *shrug*

good luck!
