Shouldn't Autumn photo tips be a month earlier?

I just got my issue 28 the other day. I know it was delayed a bit by a Royal Mail labour issue before getting to the slow hands of Canada Post.

I was thinking that having tips for autumn photos in this issue is a bit late is it not? Leaves start turning colour here in early October and often the end of September. If I go north to our cottage in Muskoka (2 hours north of Toronto) it has peaked by around the weekend of October 11.

I know things may be a bit different over there, but it cannot be that far off.

Hi Donoreo,

Yes unfortunately our autumn has come at a slightly different time to you.
Just after the issue came out on 21st of October we then had the best two weeks of autumn colours here in England, meaning it was perfectly timed for us. Almost too perfectly.
Our autumn has been a bit late meaning that for our readers abroad they might have missed out.

I feel more sorry for our Australian readers who have to wait another 6 months!

Many Thanks
Monique

So only a couple of weeks off. I still think an issue earlier would be good, so people have a chance to read and watch the videos to get ready for it.
