CHAT - VANISHING POINT - Weekend Competition August 10th - 12th 2012

The main composition of your picture should be something that basically vanishes into the distance, all road and rail pics accepted but try to find other things that are different to the norm, PP accepted. Most things that have a vanishing point start with parallel sides lines etc : however prove me wrong.

Please not that pictures MUST be taken between the competition being announced and the Midnight Sunday close date

Hope that you have your creative heads on and have fun.

Sabrina, it is all a learning curve and i have found over the past 18 months i look at things differently, forums have brought my pictures on, well i think so anyway.

Have stuck it for you.

Nice theme, having just moved house money would be a good one but that would be multiple vanishing points:eek:

On my daily 45 mile trip to see my daughter in Lincoln Hostpital I managed the attached photo, sorry it's a road, but didn't spot anything else suitable for the theme. May spot something a little different today or Sunday.

Why I chose my entry I don't really know, I don't knit! I was trying to avoid the cliches (okay they are still parallel lines converging) and went the still-life route. However, I'm not sure it totally fits the theme with the very shallow depth of field; I'll let Kerbside decide.
