St Andrews castle in Scotland
 
Only an Amature Photographer but looking for comments on how to improve so any comments would be great :) i know on this photo the tip of the castle is missing and could be Improved :)

It would be really interesting to know what set up you used for this shot , ie if this is a single shot or multiple , or if you used ND filters or not .

As you say framing the shot is as important as the camera settings but the two things that jump out at me are the wonky horizon and the slightly under exposed foreground .
Other than that you have controlled the exposure difference between the sky and foreground very well and you have captured the detail in the tower beautifully .

Hi. May I suggest you could've excluded in the shot the metal fence in the right hand side, to give your photo a more "medieval" feel..:)

thank you guys for your coments i will definatly take them on board

I used a Nikon coolpix L22 with f/5.5 ISO - 80 with an apature of 3.3 and used no filters at all, and did a little bit of exposure editing with windows live photo gallary :)
