Pontsicill Reservoir
 

This photo was taken last weekend at Pontsicill Reservoir which is just outside Merthyr Tydfil.

Any comments as always are welcome.

Lovely reflection and mirror like water but for me the composition looks a little too square on with no lead in line to draw me into the scene , don't know if you could of moved to the left just to get a bit more of an angle on the walk way .

Thanks for the comment. I did love the refelction of this image but agree because it was square on it doesn't lead the eye that well.

I did take another which I have posted below which does lead better but I didn't like the overall feel as much.

I see what you mean , I think the giant plug hole dominates the image too much in this shot .

Any more ? :)

To be honest Mark the 'plug hole' dominates all of the decent ones I took! Mind you there were only 3 decent ones out of about 35!! ;)

3 out of 35 sounds like a pretty decent strike rate to me , I usually end up with 3 out of 300 .
