not happy.........wrong impression!
 

One of my images which was for a weekend comp has just come up in the image selection showing as an entry for the shoot our cover dc mag mission. This is so untrue and makes it look like i entered this into the dc mag comp. Can i have an explanation for this please???????? Im not happy.

When u log on and random images come on.......ir appeared with a totally fictitious gallery!!!!!!!!!!! Lol people will have wondered why i would have entered it into a street shoot comp!!!!!!!!!

I do not see random photos when I log on. I am just trying to sort out how to help.

Don't worry about it....it's gone now and it may not show u again.....when I log on direct to [url]www.digitalcameraworld.com/forum[/url], there's a selection of images on show. Each time u log in and out or move in and out of different threads, when you do back to the forum home page, the images are there but change each time.

I was just shocked to see that it said my image was from the shoot my cover comp when it wasn't!!!

You mean the gallery? I have it closed, so I never see it. I did send a message to Sam as I cannot do anything with it.

If you uploaded the image to a gallery and didn't change the category for which gallery to put it in it will go into the cover comp by default.

Really???? How do uvknow that and why? I usually put them in general photos

Someone else on the forum made a comment about it in another thread and when I tried to upload a photo to the gallery it was defaulted to the comp, lucky for me I was uploading to the comp :D

Don't know why never really bothered to work it out or ask.
