Elements 7 & Vista
 

I use a canon DSLR, shooting in RAW. I convert the images using canons DPP in to TIFF 8bit files.
I then open the image in my elements 7 and work on the photo, then save as another TIFF file.
When I go back to open the image the thumb nail is blank and elements is unable to open the file.

The same thiong happens when i use the elements RAW converter.

I know its probably me doing something wrong. But has anyone any ideas please.

I use the same technique, from DPP to tiff, bring into PS7, edit, BUT overwrite the DPP tiff when done.
Have no problems with reopening or changing the tiff later. I also use Vista.
