London Jubilee

Hi everyone

Going to London over the weekend to photograph the London Jubilee and the River Thames Pageaunt which I'm really excited about :)!!

The lenses I'm thinking about taking with me are the Nikon 70-300mm VR telephoto lens, Nikon 18-105mm lens and the Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Would the 70-300mm lens be good for photographing close ups of the boats during the pageaunt and would the Sigma lens be good for panoroma photos of the River Thames and Tower Bridge.

Any advice or tips, much appreciated, thanks.

Natasha

Hi Natasha and welcome. :D

Those lenses should cover you for all you want to photograph. Just remember that you can take landscape shots with the 70-300mm as well as the Sigma 10-20mm. If unsure of what setting to use just put the camera into program mode and just worry about getting the shots you want. Don't forget to have fun as well. :p

Thank you for your tips and advice, I really appreciate it. Hoping to get some panorama photos of the boats going through tower bridge. Looking forward to photographing the River Thames Pageant on Sunday and have been doing lots of research :)!!
