GPS info in Elements
I am a relatively new user of Adobe Elements 10 and still learning so hopefully someone can help........I have a nikon d7000 and nikon gp1 gps. I am a Mac user with os x lion 10.7.3 operating system.
My question is this.........how do I access the gps info embedded in the image using elements 10 on the mac?? If I click on window there is no drop down on the mac!!! Martyn |
To be more accurate its the maps window I would want to access.
In iPhoto if I move 15 paces I get another location pin on a map of the area the images are taken in. Can I get similar in elements??? I can see the gps data now in the properties metadata info when viewing the image within the album but no maps. Martyn |
Are you looking for the "show on map" feature? If so, it was removed from Elements 10.

Thanks for the info..........cant understand why they would do that.
I find it a useful tool when putting a slide show together in i photo. It adds information for the viewer making the slideshow a better experience and a more complete presentation from my point of view. |
It is explained in the link. They used an interface from Yahoo for the mapping that Yahoo is discontinuing. I am guessing there was not time to use an alterate before they wanted to release version 10.
