Flying fish...well jumping fish

The trout are heading up stream to spawn. In my home town there is a damn, once a very small hydro-electric generating station, that blocks progress. In the 1970s they built a fish ladder to get the fish around the damn and up stream.

I had a hard time getting the shots as it was very dark and grey outside. I had problems getting a high enough shutter speed with a low enough ISO to keep it from being too noisy.

This is one of the decent shots I got.

Sorry couldn't resist....
Darkened the foam and lightened the fish a touch.
