My dog, Caesar

Not really sure where this belongs but ill stick it in here as my dog is kind of wildlife!

Decided to try and get on to Caesar's level. Lying on the floor is to Caesar an invitation either to play or a facial bath. He has been known to lick the front element of the lens. On this occasion I waited for him to get used to me lying on the floor before taking the shots.

The other day he did a reasonable impression of a lion.

This time he is doing an impression of a sphinx:

He looks incredibly sad, but that's because concrete is being laid on our patio and we don't want him running in it so he wasn't allowed to run around in the garden.

Both shots:

Poor Caesar! He does the life-is-so-cruel-to-me look exceedingly well! And you've done a great job recording it!

Oh he is gorgeous! :-) Is he an Australian cattle dog or white alsation?? I love all the shots but especially the last one.

He is a white alsatian. Just over 2 and very large and thinks he can still sit on your lap. He has never grown up which is mainly thanks to my 5 year old nephew who has grown up with him. He is cute though and knows it

Beautifully taken shots but I'd love to see them without the distracting background .

I have two large dogs who do exactly the same, I think the larger breeds just remain babies at heart :-) Don't know if you have studio background and lights but as Mark says, a studio shot with no distractions would be great as he is such a beautiful subject.

He'd cause havoc in a studio and break lots of stuff! He will only sit still when distracted and this wouldn't be very easy to do in a studio. Up in the garden would be better but he constantly runs from one end to another up there. Incorrigible is not the word. He and the youngest nephew are as thick as thieves. The nephew used to sleep in his dog bed with him. Kind of cute. Caesar was 4 weeks old when we first had him. He was like a tiny polar bear

Yep should be a pet section. Mine post started with "Not wildlife", as they are Images of my dog.
Lovely images, Beautiful white GSD. Absolutely love the last shot. Nice low POV, great expretion on his face.
Top stuff. :)
I have one of my own, black & tan. Name of Zed.

One thing that Caesar likes more than running around in the garden is cheese. My father in law and I will sometimes enjoy some good cheese with a drop of carefully decanted port. Caesar loves cheese so much that he will sit and drool and plead until he gets some. Here I think he thinks he is Oliver asking for more!
