Monitor and printer advice please
Hi -
At the moment I am using a HPw2408h lcd monitor which even though I have spyder calibration still produces prints which look a lot darker than they do on screen. This happens even if I darken the monitor or pre-lighten prints in photoshop. I am looking to buy a new monitor, one which is highly reccommended for photographers. Can people please advice me and give me some ideas of which monitor to buy, please? I am really desperate to sort this problem out as its driving me crazy. I am also looking to buy a decent printer, at least A3, any advice on that also welcomed. I use canon cameras if that makes any difference. Thanks very much Karen |
The reason for the darker prints is that your screen is backlit whilst your prints are from reflected light from the front. You need to calibrate your printer to reflect this. :D
As regards printers have a look at the Epson range see below. :) http://www.epson.co.uk/Home-and-Home-Office/Printers-All-in-Ones/Photo-printing If you still want a photo monitor the check this site.
